"...the Park's leading advocacy group..."
- The Villager
Friends of Hudson River Park is dedicated to protecting, completing, and sustaining the entire Hudson River Park through advocacy, coalition building, and fundraising. Founded in 1999, we represent thousands of individual and organizational members committed to securing the funds needed to complete this World-Class Park, and supporting its ongoing operations and development. When finished, this five-mile Park will extend uninterrupted along Manhattan’s West Side Waterfront from 59th Street to the Battery.
Friends works with the Hudson River Park Trust, the City-State agency responsible for building and operating the Park, and other organizations that share our interest in ensuring that the Park is completed as planned.
