Welcome to Friends of Hudson River Park
Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, Friends is the only community-based nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to completing Hudson River Park, the world-class park that, when completed, will extend for five miles from 59th Street to the Battery along Manhattan’s west side waterfront.
Friends advocates for the public funding needed to complete the Park; we solicit contributions from the private sector; we work with the Hudson River Park Trust, the City-State agency responsible for building and operating the Park; and we join forces with environmental, community, and neighborhood organizations who share our interest in ensuring that the Park is completed as planned.
We invite you to discover the Park. Please click on the map at the right and then check out our entire website to learn about how you can join our efforts to complete this public space for everyone.
