Meta Brunzema
Meta Brunzema , a founding director of Friends of Hudson River Park,is the principal of Meta Brunzema Architect P.C., an award-winning architecture and urban design practice specializing in carbon-neutral design that addresses contemporary spatial, environmental and socio-political challenges in innovative ways. Prior to forming Meta Brunzema Architect P.C., she worked with several distinguished architects, including Steven Holl, Rafael Vinoly and Charles Gwathmey. Ms. Brunzema is a director of the Hell’s Kitchen Neighborhood Association, and a fellow of the Institute for Urban Design. She is an adjunct Assistant Professor of Urban Design and Architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
Brunzema received a M.A. degree in Architecture from Columbia University in 1990.
