Welcome to the Chelsea section of Hudson River Park!

Horatio Street to West 30th Street

The Chelsea section is approximately one mile long, with Piers 62, 63 and 64 now completed in Chelsea Cove, a beautiful stretch of land that will include just over nine acres of grassy lawns, gardens, a Stonefield landscape, a hand-carved carousel, and a California-style skate park.

Chelsea is already the destination spot for the many outdoor enthusiasts who flock to it for its fabulous recreational and athletic facilities. Dominating this section, Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex features indoor ice skating rinks, rollerblading rinks, a health club and swimming pool, several indoor sports venues, two banquet halls, and a marina. The section also includes Chelsea Waterside Park, offering vast playing fields, an expansive dog run, and a basketball court, and the Frying Pan, a 1929 lightship used by the U.S. Coast Guard as a floating lighthouse, and now a great place for drinks and conversation.
