Enjoy the Park as the perfect backdrop for the programs and events that we program throughout the warmer months. These activities are designed to attract visitors to the Park and to build support for our mission, while involving both surrounding neighborhood and underserved communities throughout New York. They are typically held in areas where the Hudson River Park Trust has not yet established regular programming on its own, and the majority of them are free.

Stop by after work for our free sunset concerts, with live bands performing music ranging from blues to bluegrass, and from jazz and funk to rock and roll.  Or, if you are looking for some weekend entertainment with the kids, come to our free family festivals, featuring everything from face painting to fishing. You can also experience the Park through one of our very affordable river boat rides that provide great views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan waterfront, or by attending one of our special events that include a Pet Parade and an annual race throughout the Park.

Our programs extend throughout the year as we offer affordable educational programs that give young people the opportunity to learn about the Park.
